A Short History of Emerson Radio

Emerson Radio got its start in 1915 as the Emerson Phonograph Company with roots in the record business.  In the 1930’s, although still in the phonograph and recordings business they became more and more involved with producingradios and became very prominent with the introduction of peewee radios, which were small and compact; perfect during the depression era.

The Berlin Farmers Market is open on Thursday thru Sunday and features and eclectic mix of merchandise, from new & used clothing and accessories to vintage collectibles.  The Berlin Farmers Market has room for more than 800 dealers and vendors both indoors and outdoors.  This market has been around for a long time and generates thousands of visitors per day.  Centrally located, this flea market is an easy ride from Philadelphia, New York or Delaware.


Washington Valley Flea Market, 140 Washington Valley Road, Warren, New Jersey, 732.469.2443

Washington Valley Flea Market is located in Warren, New Jersey and is normally open Sundays during the Spring and Summer months.  This flea market attracts more than one hundred dealers and thousands of visitors each month.  The Washington Valley Flea Market features new and used merchandise as well as vintage, antique and collectible items.

Golden Nugget Antique Flea Market in Lambertville is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays and features over 150 dealers selling antiques, vintage collectibles, crafts, art and a whole lot more.  Started in 1967, Golden Nugget Antique Flea Market attracts thousands of visitors each week and markets itself at the East Coast’s premier market for vintage and retro items and soon will be a destination of choice for their “green market”.

Meadowlands Flea Market is located at Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands Sports Complex.  The Meadowlands Flea Market is open on Saturdays year round and features an eclectic mix of merchandise from hundreds affable and friendly dealers.  This flea market offers plenty of free parking and free admission.

Plaza One Flea Market is located in Toms River, New Jersey and is open every Wednesday and Friday.  This indoor and outdoor flea market attracts more than fifty vendors and hundreds of visitors per week.  The Plaza One Flea Market features new and used household and personal items; jewelry, clothing, home décor and collectibles.

Cowtown Flea Market is one of our family’s favorite places to visit when we’re in New Jersey.  This indoor and outdoor flea market which is just 8 miles from the Delaware Memorial Bridge houses some 400 dealers and is operational on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  At the Cowtown Flea Market you will not only find antiques and collectibles, but as the name implies, if you are in the market for some livestock you’ll be able to get it here as well.

The Morristown Armory Antiques Show is an annual antiques show normally held in November.  This antique show is held at the National Guard Armory in Morristown, New Jersey and draws over one hundred antiques and collectibles dealers from around the country featuring antique furniture, vintage pottery and glass, as well as paintings, vintage prints, jewelry, clocks and watches.

The Columbus Flea & Farmers Market also has indoor and outdoor booths.  This flea market is open Thursday – Saturday and you should be able to find good deals here on everything from antiques and collectibles to produce and new flea market merchandise.  The indoor market has about 60 vendors and there are a couple hundred more vendors on the outside.  Columbus Flea Market is one of those places where you feel right at home.

English Town Flea Market is also known as Englishtown Auction and it has been around since the late 1920’s.  This flea market features over 40 acres of shopping both indoors and outdoors and has everything from antiques and collectibles to plain old garage sale items.  This flea market has plenty of free parking and food concessions for your convenience.

Collingwood Auction & Flea Market is located in Farmingdale, New Jersey and is open on Fridays through Sunday.  This indoor and outdoor flea market has more close to eight hundred spaces combined and attracts visitors from all over the Mid-Atlantic region.  Collingwood Auction & Flea Market specializes in new and used household and personal products as well as country furniture, vintage merchandise, antiques and collectibles.

New Egypt Flea Market is located in New Egypt, New Jersey and is open daily year round.  This indoor and outdoor flea market attracts about one hundred dealers and thousands of visitors per month from around the tri-state area.  The New Egypt Flea Market has a wide variety of merchandise including antiques, collectibles, vintage items and new and used merchandise.

The Ocean Grove Giant Flea Market is located in Ocean Grove, New Jersey and is held a couple of times per year.  This giant flea market is host to more than three hundred vendors. The Ocean Grove Giant Flea Market features new and used merchandise as well as antiques, collectibles and vintage items.
